Round 5 of the European Chess Design Competition has ended. It started on Monday, November 10, 2008, and ended on Friday, November 21, 2008.

Submissions

The submissions can be found here.

Rules

The rules for this competition were a little different: we had a themed competition in addition to the regular competition. We allowed a maximum of three submissions and five votes per person in the regular competition and a maximum of one submission and two votes in the themed competition. We selected three winners from the regular competition and two from the themed competition.

Standings

Asterisks (*) denote winners. John Fritzen was once again the organizer of this competition, and Alex and John chose the winners among the tied nations. Note: we chose to remove Nazi Germany from the winners' list because of similarity to the already existing Baltic States.
